Cooking with Ionized Water
You have the ability to produce five types of water from your ionizing machine. These types are: strong acidic water, acidic water, alkaline water, and strong alkaline water. Each of these waters can be used in different ways. Several of them can (and should) be used when cooking.
Acidic water, while unsafe as far as drinking is concerned, can be extremely useful in the kitchen. This weak acidic water has a pH of 6.0-4.0 and is perfect for washing veggies and fruits, helping to keep your produce bright-colored and fresh.
When cooked with acidic water, beans cook to perfection in less time, allowing you to spend your time eating instead of cooking! Also, your fried food will come out crispy and delicious when you use acidic water.
Another tip: spray your food with acidic water prior to freezing. This step helps to ensure that the flavor of your foods won't be lost when it's thawed out.
Alkaline Ionized water, with a pH of 8.0-10.0, is safe and recommended for drinking. You'll find the water more flavorful than "regular" water, and you'll experience health benefits that are immediately noticeable.
This type of water is also great for food preparation, and it removes the harsh taste and strong smell of foods such as onions and garlic. Kangen water produces very fluffy rice, and your soups and stews will consist of purer flavors. Many water ionizer users claim that they use less salt when cooking with Kangen water because that extra seasoning just isn't needed!
Try using ionized water when brewing your favorite coffee or tea, you'll enjoy a richer flavor than you've ever experienced before.
Strong Alkaline water, while not safe for drinking, is great for cleaning vegetables and fruits. This type of water has a pH of 11.5; if oil and strong alkaline water are combined, the water actually emulsifies the oil. This makes this type of water ideal for cleaning your food of pesticides and fertilizer, which remain because of their oily consistency when cleaned with "regular" water.
Water ionizers produce five different types of water that are perfect for all different kinds of cooking. You'll enjoy better-tasting water and more flavorful food, and you'll never go back to cooking with tap water again!
