Fat Saves the Day or Does it? I recently saw a sign that said, "You're not over-weight, you're over-acidic."What an interesting way to consider the obesity problem that we are seeing in modern day society! These fatty deposits are stored as far away from our vital organs as possible; hence the weight gain that typically occurs on the chest, buttocks, thighs and belly. To look at it one way: this fat is saving our lives by protecting our body's vital organs from damaging acid waste. However, these fatty deposits lead to other issues. Cholesterol is just one example of acid waste that has been solidified and stored for later removal, which may never occur. We also become over-weight. The body has chosen to save the important detoxification organs, and this has come at a cost.
Proper polarity equals higher metabolism. Higher metabolism equals less fat. Weight loss and high energy is much easier to achieve when the body's PH is balanced. Alkaline water, along with alkaline producing foods aid the body in its efforts to return to a natural "balanced" state. In this balanced state the body is able to more readily respond to weightloss efforts. |
