Is Dr. Robert O. Young a Hired Gun for Chanson Water Ionizer Company?

Is Dr. Robert O. Young a Hired Gun for Chanson Water Ionizer Company?

The sad fact is that once a water ionizer company reaches the point where it begins hampering sales of “Kangen Water Machines” it becomes fodder for misinformation and skewed truths.  Congratulations, Chanson USA – your success has sparked the rumor that Dr. Robert O. Young “endorses” your products because you pay him to only sell Chanson water ionizers.

To set the record straight on this rumor I reached out to Dr. Young to ask about his compensation arrangement with Chanson USA.  Here’s what I found….

When I called I spoke with June Asisi, Comptroller and General Manager for pH Miracle Living where Dr. Young promotes the alkaline diet and lifestyle.  She assured me that Dr. Young receives no compensation for endorsing Chanson USA products.  He is an authorized dealer for Chanson USA products and his compensation is no different from that received by any other Chanson USA dealer.

Just like Water Ionizer Authority, just like Alkaline Water Plus, just like Water Ionizers Direct and every other Chanson USA dealer, Dr. Young is an authorized dealer.  His company purchases Chanson USA water ionizers and filtration products at wholesale and resells them to consumers based on Chanson USA’s pricing guidelines.

He is not a “hired gun” for Chanson USA and does not receive special compensation for “endorsing” their products.

Beware of Independent Investigations

This rumor began circulating as part of a very lengthy training piece done by one of Enagic’s top distributors who produces and sells “training materials” to Enagic or Kangen Water representatives.   While some of the information in these “independent investigations” are based on facts they are often skewed by using only selective bits of information or by exploiting outdated information found on the internet.

These reports are often largely “attacks” on both individuals and companies.  They have little or no reference to the quality of the water produced by the competing products they are attacking.  Instead they are more personal attacks on the companies and their owners.

If someone forwards you an “independent investigation” that seems to make shocking claims about a company, their products or the individuals endorsing, please be aware that these are more “marketing materials” than anything else.

Take a moment to consider the source – probably an independent distributor for Enagic – and then visit Enagic USA’s official website to see whether or not that report is a sanctioned marketing piece for the company.   Then go back to the person who sent you that “independent investigation” and ask “if these things are true, why doesn’t Enagic talk about these facts on their company website?”

The fact is that almost every water ionizer company operating right now provides customers with quality products that are safe and effective for their users.   Every water ionizer has its pros and cons, but they all work well and most are sold by companies with a long list of satisfied customers.

A good product will stand on the merits of its performance without the need for attacks on competing products.   An ethical company or product representative sells by highlighting the features and benefits of the products being sold – not by personal attacks on the owners of competing companies or their companies.

While many water ionizer companies are relatively new here in the United States, most have been manufacturing water ionizers for much longer in Asia.  Major water ionizer brands here in the US come from certified medical device manufacturing facilities in Asia.

When considering which water ionizer is right for you, throw out the hype, spin and those “independent investigations.”  Consider the features you want, the levels of water you want to produce and the warranty offered by the company.  Take a look at what fits your needs, your budget and what you want to see sitting on your counter.  Then choose the water ionizer that seems like the best fit for you.
