This model can be connected directly to the cold water line below the sink freeing your faucet of hoses and diverters.  Your Alkalux will still sit on your counter next to the sink but rather than connecting to the faucet using a standard diverter, you'll connect it directly to the cold water line below the sink - so the Alkalux will be ready to go to work with just a light touch on the control panel.

The Alkalux 2507 comes standard with .1 micron dual internal filtration however you can upgrade to .01 micron dual filtration when you are ready to change your filters.

An automated cleaning cycle prevents excess scale buildup on a day to day basis and cleaning cartridges are available and recommended for use once every 12 to 18 months or once every 6 to 9 months if you are in a hard water area.  The cleaning cartridge is a "run-n-go" product that requires little time and effort on your part - install the cartridge, let the unit run for 20 - 30 minutes then re-install the #2 filter.  That's it!
