 In February of 2013 IonWays and Jupiter water ionizer products were re-branded as AlkaViva.

The Athena water ionizer from AlkaViva continues to grow in popularity.

Recently I’ve had a lot of requests for more information about this model.  My review of the AlkaViva Athena and the quality of alkaline water it produces is long overdue.  I’ve had mine for almost three years now.  I guess it’s just become such a fixture I just don’t think about it much.

After nearly three years of regular use, my Athena is still working as well today as it did the first day I set it up and ran my initial tests.  Overall I’ve been pleased with it.  I’ll try to do it justice in this review…

How Do the Jupiter Orion & Aquarius Compare to Others?

I went to this web site and they are sooooo in favor of the Jupiter Orion or Aquarius.   I don’t know if you know Dr. Young but he is very well respected. I spoke to one of his breast cancer survivors this morning.   Wow what an inspiration she is.   I am so confused.  What are your thoughts?

I just want to buy a great machine but I certainly do not want to spend money that I do not need to spend.   I have a 4 year old and a busy life so I need convenience as well.

Late last week IonLife announced to dealers that the company will be retiring the Jupiter Orion and Aquarius models.

From IonLife:  To make room for new water ionizers in October and in the next few months, we will be discontinuing the Orion and Aquarius.   The Orion and Aquarius water ionizers will therefore no longer be available for purchase after September 30th, 2010

Water Ionizer Test Results

pH_Testing_MASTERI recently completed Round 1 of my annual “Testing of the Water Ionizers.”  I’m thrilled to report that (as expected) all units tested so far are performing at the same levels they were when I first got them.

Round 1 testing included Tyent’s TURBO 7070, the KYK Genesis and the Jupiter Athena.    I’ll be testing several other units in the weeks to come but for now, here’s how the Tyent TURBO, KYK Genesis and Jupiter Athena performed -
