How Ionized Water Works

Looking at water molecules at the molecular level is the best way to understand how ionized water works.

One water molecule is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.  Most people recognize “H2O” as the chemical symbol or expression for water – indicating the 2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom.   The single oxygen atom is much larger than the two hydrogen atoms which means that the oxygen’s attraction of/for the hydrogen atom than the hydrogen atoms’ attraction to each other.  During the electrolysis process, the H2O is converted to 2 Oxygen atoms and 2 Hydrogen gas.
