Tyent just announced the release of their UCE-9000T Under Counter Water Ionizer.
After years of research, development and testing the company is confident that the UCE-9000T under counter model will meet the exacting standards expected from products bearing the Tyent name.
Two of the most-asked questions I get about water ionizer products are “Does Tyent have an under-counter model?” and “When is Tyent coming out with an under-counter model?” Well, it’s here – and here’s what we know about Tyent’s UCE-9000T so far….
Tyent’s UCE-9000T model has 9 platinum coated titanium plates with 315 inches of plate surface hour powered by 375 watts of SMPS power. Like other Tyent models the UCE-9000T is a dual filtration unit and the filters should last from 6 to 9 months depending on usage.

A trademark of Tyent water ionizer products is the true one-touch operation control panel. The UCE-9000T offers the same one-touch operation for dispensing any level of alkaline or acidic water as well as for the “purified” setting. Your pH selections are right on the faucet and all settings can be adjusted right on the faucet.
Tyent’s under counter water ionizer has three alkaline, three acidic and one neutral setting plus a Turbo setting to make even stronger alkaline or acidic water.
When not in use the display screen shows the remaining filter life and all of the control icons. When the unit is in use the display screen changes to clearly indicate which level of water is being produced.
Tyent USA just gave the manufacturing “go-ahead” on this model this week and expects the first shipment to arrive in January with an “available to ship to customers” date of January 15, 2011. The company is allowing pre-sales of the UCE-9000T model direct to customers and through select Tyent dealers. All pre-sale orders will be shipped immediately upon delivery of the first inventory shipment to the Tyent warehouse.
During the pre-sale customers can buy the Tyent UCE-9000T for the discounted price of $2,999, just a little more than the sale price of Tyent’s popular 9090 counter top model.
Summary & Conclusions
Having not actually put our hands on this new model we can’t speak with 100% certainty but we’re confident that this unit will perform at least as well as Tyent’s countertop models. So far, every Tyent model that we have used and tested here has been a trouble-free solid performer. Easy to use, easy to adjust and we believe that the Tyent UCE-9000T will stand up to the standard set by the company’s previous models.
We’re already on the list with our own pre-sale order and as soon as we receive ours we’ll put the Tyent 9000T to the test. Based on other Tyent models and the 9000T’s 9 plates and 375 watts of power we expect to see this unit produce pH levels from 2.0 to 12.0 with ORP’s up to a -850.
Knowing that the 9000T is backed by Tyent’s industry leading warranties, technical support and commitment to customer satisfaction we have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this product.
With the sale price only $300 higher than the sale price of Tyent’s 9090 TURBO Extreme countertop model this looks like a good buy to us for Tyent quality with the convenience of faucet-style styling.
If you’re considering the Tyent UCE-9000T or any other under-counter water ionizer we suggest you read “Under Counter Water Ionizers – Things You Should Know” to make sure you’re ready for installation when your under-counter water ionizer arrives. While installation of an under-counter water ionizer is relatively easy and can be completed in about 30 minutes, there are some things you’ll need to have ready when you install the unit.
