Uses for Ionized Water

March 3rd, 2010 by Romi

Which_WayI get a surprising number of inquiries from people asking about t he different uses for ionized water. The industry has done a good job promoting the 2 basic uses for ionized water – 9.5 alkaline for drinking and strong acid water for disinfecting – but I am finding that a lot of water ionizer owners still have questions about the best uses for ionized water at the different pH settings available.

This is a (relatively) brief guide to using ionized water at the settings found on most water ionizers. In the weeks to come I’ll be working on a more in depth water ionizer user guide. For now I hope this helps users out there get the most out of their investment in a water ionizer. Read the rest of this entry »

Chanson Changes Warranty on Eden Model

August 13th, 2010 by Romi

ChansonChanson dealers received notice yesterday that warranty terms on their “Eden” model water ionizer have changed.  The warranty change is NOT outside industry standards – there are still water ionizers that sell for more than this model that have shorter warranty periods.

The “Eden” is Chanson’s 3-plate counter top water ionizer.  It is not uncommon for companies to have different warranty terms for their lower cost models and the change to the Eden warranty terms is still reasonable for the industry.  Effective 8/14/10: Read the rest of this entry »

August 10th, 2010 by Romi

pH_Testing_MASTEROnce you receive your water ionizer and get it hooked up, it’s important to test the water to ensure you’re getting the desired pH at each of the preset levels. Every water ionizer comes with a set of pH testing drops and a color chart but there are a few things you should know before you start testing. These “tips for testing” will help you feel confident that you are getting the most accurate readings possible. Read the rest of this entry »

Another Happy IonQuench Customer

July 27th, 2010 by Romi

IonQuench 8080Just received an e-mail from a recent IonQuench customer.  Like a lot of people these days, she has to keep a close eye on her budget so getting the most for her money was very important.  She had been getting water from another IonQuench customer in her area.  A couple of weeks ago she took the “IonQuench Plunge” herself  – read what she had to say about her IonQuench water ionizer and her experience with Water Ionizer Authority… Read the rest of this entry »

Wasp Sting Relief

My oldest son called yesterday to say he’d been stung by a wasp.  At 19 and living on his own, he doesn’t call with these “little updates” that often but when I heard “wasp sting” I had a pretty good idea what he was going to say next.

Austin uses an IonQuench 8080 at his place and since he first installed it he’s been discovering all kinds of things that acid water “cures.”  If you’ve got a complaint or ailment and tell Austin about it, he’ll likely recommend either duct tape or acidic ionized water to fix it.

It was no surprise to hear that he immediately ran in the house to apply acid water to the sting – what surprised us both was just how well (and how quickly) it worked. Read the rest of this entry »

Best Way to Store Ionized Water

BEST for Storing Ionized Water

BEST for Storing Ionized Water

The GoodLife Stainless Steel Bottles are AMAZING when it comes to maintaining the properties of alkaline ionized water.  I just completed my time test comparing different storage methods and the GoodLife Bottle blew me away.

It was an experiment that I was about to throw out.  Almost two weeks ago we filled 3 containers with alkaline ionized water to compare how well each was able to maintain the ORP.  Read the rest of this entry »

Alkaline Water and Cyst Reduction

June 28th, 2010 by Romi

CUST_Ruby_PRuby is a Water Ionizer Authority customer and a great example of someone who’s done all the right things yet found herself with a diagnosis she never expected.  Too young and too committed to natural health to surrender an ovary as recommended by doctors, her husband discovered alkaline water and she decided to give it a try.   They purchased a KYK Genesis (now sold as the Genesis Platinum) and Ruby began drinking the water like crazy.   We weren’t 100% sure what the results would be but we’re all in agreement that trying “ionized water therapy” was worth it!
